I just upgraded to Nero 5.5 on my XP-PRO machine! And finally I can see my burner and not just Image Recorder Virtual Device! And Device Manager has it too! In fact I was able to burn a WMA to a CDRW as a audio CD! So it does work! But it won't take my WAVs and says all my MP3s are unreadable and won't burn! Any idea why? And is there a program I can use to tell the validity of my MP3s? Like a battery tester but for MP3s!

I found my answer! But it doesn't make sense! I ran the update from 5.5.8.1 to 5.5.10.0 ! No settings change, just the update! But why? 5.5.8.1 should be compadible with XP!

Just when I thought everything was OK it's not! 1 file burned so good! But when I tried my whole VOL list like 20 songs it died! It said:

Focus or Tracking Error! Burn Process Failed at 4x!

Anybody know what that means?
