I have a HP computer with a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1302 and I recently switched from windows 98 to XP and now it says a compatable DVD incoder isnt installed. COuld hepl me out, Thanks RIch

You have three options. If it was working under Win98, you most likely have it somewhere on a disk/CD. Do you have a system disk or a disk specifically for the DVD player? If you can't locate it, you can buy a new decoder for $10-20, or you can try one from this page (click on free DVD filters).

That's funny I have WinDVD and I was just told to download a patch instead of getting a whole new program.
