I have American Greetings CreatACard 6 on my computer and want to also install CreataCard Platinum.
When I start the install wizard it tells me I have to first uninstall the previous version. Is there a way to keep both versions in case the previous version has something the later version doesn't?

..unless you want to do something fairly drastic like partitioning the disc and doing a complete new OS install on the new partition, and then install the new (or old) Card program on the new partition.
Both programs probably use some of the same dynamic linked libraries (ya know of the famous .dll errors) which means that one will create a conflict with the other.

Informative answer, Cresent7. Now I understand how and why I lost all my factory installed clip art when I installed Microsoft Publishing 2000 program and then more when I upgraded to Microsoft Picture It Publishing 2001!
There were clips in both the original and the second programs as well as some nice cards completely lost. I even tried installing Microsoft Works clip art from the origial disk and then the Micro. website. Didn't work in either case.
