My email program (MSN 8 web-based) is eating my files. I was having trouble with it, and MSN said to reinstall. I protested that I would lose all my email files if I did. Actually I didn't lose them all, but I lost a couple of important ones.

Is there any way I can get them back? I use XP. If I want to save them, do I have to bring up each one separately?

Files being eaten sound like a virus. Some viruses can go undetected if they are brand new.
