Posted Hide Post Microsoft have published a Fix for this Issue Win 2000 OS only quote: To fix this behavior follow these steps: 1 Right-click My Computer and from the drop down menu click Manage. 2 From the Services and Applications menu, click Services. 3 From the right scroll down menu, double-click Task Scheduler. 4 Click the Log On tab, select the Local System Account and Allow Service to Interact with Desktop options, and then click Apply. 5 Click the General tab, click Start. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223170

JWooden271 Gold Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post Your machine is infected with the Vundo trojan horse. Two of your previous threads have been related to this issue. Problems running Task Manager, msconfig, and regedit are known to have been caused by the virus. See Wikipedia for a brief description. To avoid sounding too much like a broken record, please read one of my previous replies.
