Anyone know where I can find an Hp recovery disk set for a Pavilion 6633C desktop? I've looked on ebay, and did a Google search , but everything comes up blank. All links that say they either have the CD's or go to where you can get them, comes up blank. The guy I got this pc from, gave me what he thought were the correct recovery disks, but I get a message when I try to use them saying something to the effect of "These recovery disks are for an HP computer, and cannot be used on this computer". Anyone know where I can get them, legally? HP sure doesnt have them. Thanks alot!

Go to Start\Help & Support\Connect to Customer Support
Start a chat with H.P. & tell them what you need.
I just got a set of seven disk with the System Recovery routine on them about a week ago. The Diskettes will be sent to you for your computer only. Nobody else can use them.
Naybe this is why the Diskettes you got from the party you got the computer from do not work.
If you did not buy the H.P. Computer you may have to pay for the Diskettes.

don, Thanks for the link, I checked it out and it turned out to be the upgrade disk instead of the recovery set, but thats ok, I think I have it licked now. Originally I wanted the recovery set for the drivers on it, but I've managed to re-load 98se on this pc, and finally found the drivers I needed, so its good now. I appreciate the help!
