I am making a special cd for my brother. I made up something in the windows paint program and would like it to be part of what I burn onto the cd. Only, it won't let me. Says it is the wrong format? How can I get it on there?

Also, I want a musiclip I made to play while that image I made is on the screen. I want them on there at the same time. How would I do this?

I use nero burning rom to burn cds.

Any help would be appreciated. I have never done this before and it's harder than I thought it would be...Thanks so much! ~Heather

This AP Page may be helpful. I really like the IrfanView program which is available as a free download. There is a download / Install tutorial available at: My site.

The first AP page has a number of procedural steps with some extra help. If you just want the simple "How to...", Click here.

I hope this will help!

I just did a slide show using audio (though it's not music but rather my voice). It shows how to write text onto an image but if you'd like to see a sample, you can click here. There are instructions on the page.
Thanks for your feedback, it is very rewarding to hear that this was helpful.

Ok, Dwight. Perhaps you, or someone else can help me with my problem here.

I am almost finished with my project for my brother. I have one set of pictures with a song to go. (I have scanned over a 100 photos!)

I want to burn it onto a CD. I would love to be able for him to play it on his DVD player so he can watch it on the TV. But if I can't, then at the very least I would like to be able for him to play it on his computer.

I cannot, for the life of me , figure out how to do this!

How in the world do I burn it onto a CD?

(I need to have this down in the next couple of weeks as my brother and his daughter are coming down in a few weeks.)

Thanks so much for your help! Big Grin

To play it on a DVD player, it will need to be burned onto a DVD disk.

You could do it using Microsoft's Movie Maker program which is available via free download if you're running Windows XP: Windows Movie Maker

Before downloading, look in your computer's program menu list to see if Window's Movie Maker was pre-installed on your system.

There are some other options if this is not right for you. Please post again if more information is needed.

ok. Thanks. Smile I am not finished with it yet, I have one more set to go. However, when the photo's end, the song keeps playing over and over. Like Looping. When I burn it onto a cd, when the last set ends, will it just start over from the beggining?

Sorry, I have never done this before. But I do appreciate the help, buddy! Smile

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

PS. I have no internet access at my house just yet and I am at my paretns house right now. But I will try the move maker thing and report back next week when I get back over here. Smile

After posting my answer above, it was pointed out to me that I was wrong about using the Windows Music Maker program. You may prefer one of the other methods as described in this AnswerPool thread: Video DVD

Sorry about the confusion and I wish you good luck with your project.
