My brother-inlaw worked on my computer, he said he made it run faster (without my knowledge). I have no idea what he did. When I turn on my computer it gives me a box which saids:
Runner file name Conpaq Connections.exe lacks a "-( the app id separator). I have lost games and the computer is slower. I have compaq xp and I use road runner internet. This is also effecting my updates for virus, spyware proctection, it keeps telling that it is unable to update. How can I fix this problem? If I do system restore with I lose everything I have on my computer? Any help I could get I would be greatful. Thanks
