Can a newish Mac display power point images? Does a mac usr need to download a powerpoint viewer? Is this Windows software compatible with Mac?

I want to forward some powerpoint images to a friend with a mac. tia

PowerPoint is part of Microsoft Office. There is a version for Macintosh's as well. If the user has the Mac version then that person should be able to view your powerpoint pictures since the 2 Office versions are setup to work across platforms.
