I synchronize my Palm IIIxe data to Lotus Notes in my PC (my system is xp pro) using Hotsynch 4.0.1, but it will not synch everything I have on the Palm. If Lotus does not have an equivalent utility, it just gets ignored. Similarly, there are utilities in Lotus Notes that won't get copied over to the the Palm. Any solutions for any part of this?

This is probably too obvious but can you just convert the data you wish to sync to a recognized utility? I suggest you check the "Save As" options in the data you wish to sync (in either direction) and see if there are mutually recognized file types.

For instance, will both devices recognize the .csv (comma separated values) file types? If so, convert the data to a .csv file type, then sync it. Once it is on the device, convert the file type into the necessary format.

I am not aware of any other methods. But if this doesn't work, and if there are no other suggestions from someone else here, I suggest you contact the makers of the Palm and the Lotus Notes software to see if their technical support people have any suggestions.

Some time ago I dealt with this problem and at that time the Palm support people said no, but that they were working on it. Perhaps they have come up with something by now.
