Thomas: I had Hotbar quite a long time ago and was successful using the uninstaller along with deleting the keys from the registry. I don't know how familiar you are with the Registry; you may want to download and install either (I use both) AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy. Run the Hotbar uninstaller, remove/opt out of the mailing list(s), then run AdAware and/or Spybot S & D to remove the rest of the files. I did both, then looked for any registry keys, using the Find feature, with hotbar as the search term. I just deleted each registry key I found. Make a backup copy of your Registry, BEFORE you do anything to it. This way you can restore your registry if you make a mistake. Be very careful with the Registry. Post back if you're not sure how to make a backup of it - let us know which OS (Operating System) you are running - Win95, Win98, WinXP...etc. [This message was edited by sonnet26 on 04-21-03 at 03:46 PM.]
