I'm so darn frustrated with iTunes right now, I don't even know where to begin. I purchased my current laptop (Toshiba w/ Vista) less than 6 months ago and have had several problems with various applications. iTunes worked perfectly fine up until yesterday, and I have no clue what's wrong...

When I double click on ANY song (it doesn't matter whether it was purchased from the iTunes store or ripped from a CD) it doesn't play. The "play" button changes from play to pause, indicating that a song has been selected to play, but the time counter doesn't advance... nor does the little slider that progresses across the screen as the song plays. However, the song title and artist do periodically scroll vertically like normal. Confused

I would be ever grateful if someone could help me figure out what's going on here. My entire computer has been scanned for viruses and spyware, I haven't installed anything new recently, and all programs (including Vista) are completely up to date.

I really hope someone can help me figure this out... thanks so much!!! Smile
