This should probably be in Beginners....

When filling in a excell worksheet, how can I make it so the very left column always stays visible? For example, when I have a list of names in that column, and then weekly statistics, when I scroll to the right I want the names to always stay visible.

This is an easy one! Place your cursor in the first cell to the right of the column you want to stay in view and then go to menu: Window, Freeze Panes. This will keep the column in a fixed postion and you will be able to scroll to the other columns. You can also keep rows fixed by using the same window feature.
