Microsoft's Windows Media Player 9 is in final release for Windows XP, and Windows 98SE, ME, and 2000.

I didn't even know there was an eight! I think I'm still stuck on seven! So what makes nine really worth downloading? What extras have been added?

WMP9 is ok, but I still prefer Winamp, Coolplayer and RealOne.

And I am annoyed that Microsoft is not bothering to add Ogg Vorbis support to WMP. (Currently you have to scour the web for a plugin) It must be a sign that they are afraid of a decent audio format.
