All of a sudden, my Windows Media Player isn't giving me any sound! I have checked the volume, speakers, the file is playing, but I don't hear anything! Helllllllp!

Sorry, couldn't resist! Are you sure the item you are playing has sound associated with it? Some are just vids with no sound and if it's something you downloaded then it's possible there was no sound with it.

Once you've made sure you can play something that is known to have sound, check to see that you haven't accidentaly turned down the master volume in Media Player. It's a little slider bar. You can also check the volume settings via the little yellow speaker looking icon on your task bar near your clock.
