Hi all, I am trying to find the above for this computer that I have here that I have installed Win98se on. This is all the info I have on this computer:

AMI BIOS 1992
Version 1.00.12.BB0R
S/N R353003095
P/N 898358
Description: BL133CD

I have been to the Packard Bell website, along with many others after doing a Google search for the following: Packard Bell BIOS Updates .
I've also been to just about every BIOS and Driver update page I can find, but no luck. The front of this computer says only : "Packard Bell Multimedia" , with the label saying : "Intel Pentium Inside".
Anyone have any idea where I can find an updated BIOS for this thing without having to pay a fortune for it? I'm going to send an email to Packard Bell support, but I doubt it helps any. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

I did find 1 file listed on a motherboard site

but the file was dead (since 2001)
All the Packard-Bell site had was "is your comp ready for 2000?" info Good help!
I used the search as:1.00.12.BB0R and also 1.00.12.BB0R upgrade
I tried it at www.alltheweb.com also www.altavista.com They are usually the best bets for finding drivers and upgrades But turned up zilch
Probably get it via a computer related answerboard?
And here are 36 messages off Google Groups (Usenet)dating from'96 to '98 might be something here of help?

Well, it appears that the BIOS in this pc is the latest one available. I'll just have to install more than one 2GIG hard drive to make it good enough for a plain email and web surfing machine. Thanks for the help bedstor!

I don't think you need to add another hard drive, 2gig ought be enough for basic email and websurfing. Just use good 'ol Win95 and Netscape. You'll have at least a gig to spare!
