Is there software out there to allow call waiting to show up on my monitor screen when I'm online...without changing service providers?

There are several different systems you can use. One is Catch-A-Call

Another is BuzMe. And another is CallWave.

Also, you should check with your local telephone company to see what they offer. Some telephone providers have a notification service that alerts you to incoming telephone calls while you're online.
