SO I went to install new drivers for my sound card and it told me I didn't have one installed...Thought to myself then what am I listening too??? So I went to the Device Manager to see what was there and the window poped up with nothing in it at all. No devices what-so-ever?!?! Well this is a new one, so I went to microsofts site to check it out and found this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311504
I did what it told me too and got no help from it. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Thanks in advance for the help!

click here
Scroll down to #107 on the right side of the page. Click "Restore device manager".

Another thing to try would be to restore your system to an earlier date.Let us know.
