Figured it out yet Tree? If not, open Outlook and go to the Tools menu. Click Options. Click the Other tab and then click Advanced Options. Click Add-In Mamager. Select the option Exchange Extensions commands. That should do the trick! I hope.

In my Outlook, I have options showing up under the Add-In Manager: LDVP Delegate Access Deleted Item Recovery Exchange Extensions Commands Exchange Extensions property pages Server Scripting
If the Exchange Extensions commands check box does not appear in the Add-In Manager dialog box, do the following:
On the Help menu, click About Microsoft Office Outlook, and then click Disabled Items. If Exchange Extensions commands appears, click it, and then click Enable. Try to use the Out of Office Assistant command.
If you still cannot locate the Exchange Extensions commands, do the following:
On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Other tab, and then click Advanced Options. Click Add-In Manager. Click Install. Click outex.ecf, and then click Open. Try to use the Out of Office Assistant command.

Great snswer from Georgia85 above. By the way...the reason you will see references to program commands that you don't have or have available (not grayed out) is because there are many different versions of these programs. For instance, MS Office has a version 95, Version 97, version 2000, Version XP (also called Version 2002) and so forth. Also, when Office is installed on the system there are program options that can be added or removed. If you choose, you can later add or remove these options by reinserting the Office installation CD and following the Add-Features steps. Customizing OfficeAnyway, the reason I point this out is that it is much easier to answer program questions when you add your program's version number. This information is found in "Help" / About ...(program name). Dwight

Hi again! When I go to the "Add-in Manager" box, I get two ticked boxes: SavCorp810 and NetFolders I'm running WinXP Pro (at work) AND didn't even think of looking at the version of Outlook. When I do what you instruct, Georgia, nothing seems to change. I'm sure that I'm over-looking something.

Tree, since the Exchange Extensions Command did not appear in your list of add-ins did you try to install it? If Exchange Extensions Commands is not on the list, click Install. From the list of add-ins that appears, double-click Emsuix.ecf. Click OK three times to exit out of the Options pages. Exit and log off. Start Outlook and check to see if the Out of Office Assistant appears in the Tools menu. If it did not install, the you need to make following registry modification for the Out of Office Assistant extension to be available in Outlook. WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. 1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe). 2. Locate the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/EXCHANGE/CLIENT/EXTENSIONS 3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value: Value Name: Exchange Extensions Data Type: REG_SZ Value: 4.0;emsuix32.dll;7;011111111111110;1111011100 4.
