A couple of less expensive alternates are Kai's Powershow (easy and fun) and Cyberlink's Medi@Show (some great 3-D transitions). Both have great text effects, transitions, music and sound clip capabilities. Powershows must be viewed on the ShowPlayer, Medi@Show creates .exe files. I recommend both!

I found one of the better SlideShow Software out there called, "Digital Photo Slide Show". It is really easy to understand and use. I have been using this software to put together Slideshows for a handful of Nonprofit organizations.
