Chris As you are savvy with computer files A very good program for detecting removing these is a tiny program called Hijackthis (183K) www.tomcoyote.org/hjt (screenshots and info here)It scans the hard drive/s and produces a comprehensive log list which should list the source and all you have to do to remove is tick the entry (Use caution!) There are many submitted examples on the special Forum on this Site www.webuser.co.uk/cgi-bin/forums/postlist.pl?Cat=&Board=hijackthis to the experts to sort out (not for the average user) If you want, register and submit your log here and ask these people?
