What causes 0x5edee referenced memory 78 could not be read, and what fixes it?

very belated answer on this with no software indicated can only make a guess
I saw some similar mentions for Microsoft EXCEL(see here...) and it means that possibly an "out of range" number was entered and the software responded with this message (but later versions have this bug fixed) Microsoft acknowledge this in the above link (There is a workaround on this page)
Is this of any use?

Hello Bedstor,

The issue was with Dragon Naturally Speaking 8 which gave the error whenever the accuracy centre was applied. It was resolved by right clicking the desktop icon then properties then compatibility and turning off advanced text services for the programme.

Hello Bedstor,

I hope it helps, it took Scansoft a while to come up with it, and the suggestions along the way involved copying the software CD to flat file and a number of re-installs, so I can almost recite the training dialogue for Dragon off by heart now.
