Hi guys

Further to my earlier question regarding path too deep error I am Still experiencing problems. I am trying to connect via a dial up connection to server at my workplace running win2k server. I am using my laptop which has win xp pro via a nokia 6310i and nokia cable on the 02 network at 9.6k.when i try to copy files such as jpegs i sometimes get an error message back 'path is too deep' It happens with other image and file types. I can copy FROM the server to my laptop fine it is when i copy TO the server from my laptop. I have reinstalled all drivers and software and have run the sfc command that dwight suggested and am able to connect to the same server using a landline, which works fine.
I can also surf the web ok.
Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Have you tried a xcopy from the command prompt?

Go to Start | run
type in cmd and press enter

at the c:\> type in

xcopy \\domainname\Drivename\folder\filename c:\Foldername\Filename /V

Don't forget the file extensions
