Yes, the error message is saying that one or more files for the HP Office Jet K60 All-in-One printer is being started when you start your computer. I suggest you contact HP tecnical support by clicking here and asking for their assistance. They should be able to tell you what file you will need to disable from the startup list. Dwight

I'm using MS Word 97 and cannot scan to that program. Perhaps it is available in a newer version of Word. One program you can scan from is IrfanView, a free image viewer. If you have it installed, open it and click the File menu / Acquire command. IrfanView download is available at http://www.irfanview.com and there is a download / install tutorial available by clicking here.Dwight

This setting is done in the BIOS: Click HereBasic CMOS Settings: Printer Parallel Port Unidirectional - Single direction communication. Bi-directional - Two directional communication. Used by HP printers. ECP(Extended Capability Port) - Same as Bi-directional but uses a DMA ( DMA defined ) to bypass processor and speed up transfer. EPP(Enhanced Parallel Port) - Same as bi-directional and offers an extended control code set. How to get into the BIOS: Click HereI hope these links will help! Dwight
