Years ago I sampled a delicious drink made with the following: frozen lemonade concentrate
7-Up
sugar
and I believe Vodka

I think it was called "Swamp Water" but I can't remember the name, exact ingredients and proportions. Can anyone help?

This great cocktail recipe was given to us by the fine folks at The Porch restaurant at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. They have a clever cocktail serving idea there using a plastic glow-stick as a swizzle stick, which gives the drinks an eerie, magical radiance.


1 oz. Skyy Vodka
splash of blue Curacao
orange juice


Here is another version:

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger apricot brandy
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger lime flavored vodka
2 cups prepared lemonade
1 cup ice


Directions
1 In a tall glass over ice, combine apricot brandy, lime vodka and lemonade. Stir.

The drink name Swamp Water seems to have
literally dozens of different recipes (Here are just
three I ran into right away)

1) Ingredents:
1 oz. Ameretto
1 1/2 oz. Apricot Brandy
1 oz. Lime Vodka
Fill with O.J. & 7-up
Directions:
Add ingredients as stated but when the O.J.
& 7-up is added go by taste. ie... splash of O.J.
& fill with 7-up. **For added sweetness try a splash of grenadine.

2)Ingredients:
1 jigger Rum
1/2 jigger Orange Juice
1/2 jigger Lemon Juice
3 dashes Blue Curacao
Fill rocks glass with ice. Add ingredients. Stir.

3) Ingredients:
1 shot lime vodka
1 shot apricot brandy
Sweet and sour
7-Up
In a glass ½ of ice, mix vodka & brandy and fill
the rest with half sweet & sour / half 7-Up

The only Swamp water I've heard of is root beer mixed with orange soda.
