Here's a machine that fills prescriptions I thought looked pretty cool. And, no, I don't have anything to do with the company that makes it! Is this the pharmacy of the future?
That's pretty cool. They don't show the pill-counter selecting the pills. It's hard to imagine more than about 100 reservoirs or filler tubes for different medications. My guess is that it fills the top N most popular prescriptions, where N is a relatively small number. That would allow human pharmacists to fill the less common ones.
