Does THIS look practical? Or 128MB or even 256MB for that matter is too small to hold anything important and will be outdated soon.

128mb is equal to 88 floppies, and you can't store anything useful?? I use flash drives all the time, they are small, universal to any puter with a USB port, and store MANY pages of text. The watch part is hokey, though and puts the price into the no fly zone.

I wouldn't pay that price, but it's far from obsolete. I use floppies fairly often for transporting small files and zip disks (100 MB) frequently for transporting slightly larger ones. Of course, more memory would be nice, but provided the price is right (which I would say this isn't) 128 MB or 256 MB is a very useful size. Depending on the file format and quality, that could be 8 hours of music, 8,000 pictures, or an hour of video, not to mention the common needs of transporting relatively small word processing, database, and spreadsheet files to and from work.

Yes, in my opinion, too much money for a bulky watch.
