Hi all, I have an older laptop here by Everex, the model # only says : STEP Note .
Rating: DC19V, 1.8A
FCC ID: E3EEX-2589-XYDP

There is a white sticker under this label with the following numbers on the left bottom of the sticker: KUG-54920003
Right bottom: FXO-2904P-I DDP (not sure of this one, parts of the numbers are below the sticker bottom.)

The sticker also says Everex Systems, INC.

I have tried to go to www.everex.com , Googled it,and gotten nowhere as far as finding specs for this model.

There is another white sticker above the main label with the following on it:

NB5012251B (bottom left corner )

Then in smaller digits beside this last number:

25875A-A S Below that is this number:

486 (processor,I'm sure) then the date 10/'95 .

I am trying to find an AC Adaptor for this model, but cant find the plug polarity to match it with an adaptor at Radio Shack. Anyone have any idea where I can find this info, not to mention an adaptor that wont cost me $80 or more? Radio Shack has one for $79 that fits the Toshiba I have, but without the polarity setting, he wont say whether or not it will work on this Everex. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction, or find this info for me!

Hi Chris
I found this site
www.laptopshop.co.uk/laptop-notebook-ac-adapter/spsacadapter.htm
which has a universal laptop mains adaptor for sale
I'm sure the specs fits in with your computer?
the price roughly translates to $68 +local sales tax + maybe $17 delivery?
Sounds very expensive Frown
They do have a Everex Stepnote adaptor plug Listed on the PDF(Acrobat list)but there are 2 different types depending on the model (there is a picture list to help choose)Bottom of the web page otherwise you'll have to pay another $4 for the alternate fitting Frown
