stanbeeIt it so much easier to have all the posts on a single subject in one thread. If you don't object, I would like to remove the other posting and just respond to it here in this thread.
If the uninstall/reinstall didn't work, then my next question would be about the ink cartridge. Is it the correct one?

The ink cartridge isn't the problem, I suggest you contact Canon and see is they can offer any repair suggestions.
