I've got a Mouse Systems "gamepad!" P/n 404259-001 and a Interact Pc propad4 sv-231 and I can't find any xp drivers for them. They both are reconized under 2 button gampad but they do not function correctly. When I try to calibrate them I can't get them to pick up the bottom right corner. I've got them hooked up through a creative soundblaster plug and play. Any ideas?

I've found 4 drivers on this page which might be Ok for your Interact Pc propad 4 sv-231 and they are all Ok for XP Smile
3 are listed as SV-231(all together) and the other is listed as Propad 4 further down the list
You'll have to register (free) to get the download links
1 of these should work Wink and your calibration should be Ok?

Thanks but none of those drivers seem to work correctly. The pc propad 4 driver is the original drivers that came with the controller but unfortunetly they were designed for windows95 and 98 I couldn't get them to work The sv-231 is actually a propad 6 driver noncompatible. The SV-231a driver was not a driver at all but just a walkthrough on how get the controller to work with win2000 as a 4 button gamepad I tried the same steps and had the same trouble calibrating as before. The sv-231a driver seemed the most promising being xp compatible but I couldn't get it to work at all.
I put it in the system32\drivers folder but nothing new showed up in my add game controlers menu. Any other suggestions besides throw it away.

It is not mouse systems. Gamepad! p/n: 404259-001 is a Quickshot QS-217 it sets up as a generic 4button gamepad. no drivers needed other than your gameport. more information available at www.quickshot.com (I found this by removing the cover and reading the name and model number off the board)
