Easy to rectify when you Know where to look

First switch on your speakers (Push in the connector/s at the back of the Computer)
and navigate to a site such as an online radio site or somewhere that you know needs the sound on to appreciate it?
Next Look in the bottom Right Corner by the Clock and there is a grey icon (smaller than the Avast A/V "a" Icon if you have that running ? ) May be Hidden if you have a lot of Programs running here

Click the Divider with the "<" to reveal it.
Now click on that Icon and the Volume Control Panel is revealed
Looks a lot with all those sliders
But here's how the sound is restored
And Increased TIP It must be Maxed out on this Panel otherwise the performance will be Poor OK?
Look to the Slider at the far left Called Volume Control There is a Tick box under this slider which says Mute All which should be unticked? Also the Slider Must be Pushed all the way up
Hear anything Now?
or is it sounding weird (distorted?) Volume OK?
Close the Window with the "X" Settings are not lost
Next return to the Volume Icon Right Click on this and select
Adjust Audio Properties off the Menu
Now on the First Tab (Volume) Check this Settings
In the Device Volume section
Make sure that the Mute box is unticked and the Box below this is Ticked to show the Volume button in the Tool tray (the way you came in)
The slider needs to be pushed to the High for maximum volume
Note Pressing the "Advanced" Button takes you back to the other Panel
Disregard this read on..
In Speaker settings Section there are 2 buttons "Speaker Volume"
Both sliders here should be set to High If you do have to move them then press the "Apply" button OK?
Should Be really loud now and If its still sound Funny Return to the "Speaker Volume" and press the Advanced button
There is a picture On this Page
and underneath there is a Menu And Mine is a Desktop Stereo Speakers set up Note yours might be a posh 2 speaker system? (May be a Picture to suit?)
The Picture changes as to what setup it needs to be set to From No speakers To a 7.1 system what ever that is?

If you are satisfied with your choice Click the Performance tab on the Window and Make sure the 2 sliders are Maxed out on this section
Press "Apply" if you move anything here
And thats it... If there is nothing now then You need your sound Driver Reinstalling (Easier than it sounds)
