I am hoping someone can help me.
I have a cannon inkjet(BJC) printer 250. I am using a cable modem with Windows 98 edition.I have just recently put new ink cartridge in and haven't used for awhile.Now when trying to print, it..doesn't. Computer freezes up.Light is flashing on printer..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Marguerite,did you recieve a disk with your printer? if so try reinstalling the software and drivers for your printer,if it still won`t print please post back.

Hi redder...
Thanks for replying so quickly. I have been searching (since I found you had posted) and have FINALLY found my disk that came with the printer. I have a 2 disk set.One says Canon creative Printer setup.(version 3.50p) with installation disk.
I will give it a shot and thanks again redder!

Hi again Marguerite, you`re most welcome!
THIS LINKwill take you to the Canon driver download page,where you can get the latest drivers.
Click on Bubble Jet Printers,scroll down to BJC-250,select your operating system,select English,agree to the licence then click Download Driver,save it to either your desktop
or a floppy disc,if you need instructions installing your new drivers,just repost.

I have a Canon 1000 that I transfered from my Win98 to WinXP. At the time I got the new driver and installed it. But the printer has lately been acting weird. It refuses to print front to back eventhough I set it repeatedly that way and it prints re-a-l-l-y slow. I would very much like instructions on how to remove the present driver and install a new one. Thank you.

Hi emkayess,click Start go to Settings and click Printers and Faxes, right click on your printer and select Properties click on the Advanced tab, click on New Driver this will start the Add Printer Driver Wizard.Click Next and click on Canon in the Manufacturer window on the left and select your printer in the window on the right, click Next,click finish.
If you still have problems or if your printer is not listed please repost
