Alright, well, I have a compaq and have had it for about a year, already we have had to replace the keyboard, the mouse TWICE and the printers ink. But that's another story. Ok, my printer is strange, I want to print something and it starts printing, and the page comes out, but it's blank. I have tried everything, yes, I even added more ink to the cartridge (with one of those universal shot thingys). Your help and(or) suggestions are greatly appreciated. smile

Well, I have a compaq printer, but it uses this weird lexington cartridge I believe. Since I was unable to find my sort of cartridge, I bought just the ink filling thing. It worked correctly for about 2 days, then it just stopped. To my knowledge, I didn't change anything when it last worked. Though, this thing does come up before it askes me to print, and it's like a bunch of like lines like ___ _-___-__ sort of weird like that. There are two buttons, pressing the right one usually makes the printer move. (but it still doesn't come out with ink on it!!) If I press the left button, a new internet explorer window pops up. I'm very sorry, this is a STRANGE problem. But bear with me! roll eyes big grin smile

What is happening is typical when the wrong type ink is used to refill a cartridge.. As I said, get the proper ink cartridges and give them a go !!

Murray, when I bought the ink it said it would work with ANY sort of printer and cartridge. Also, after I refilled the cartridge, it worked for a little while. Plus, I couldn't find the right sort of cartridge for my printer. I haven't tried going to best-buy and asking yet. But I'd like to find out what other options I have.

One of the first things I found out in the computer world, was that to buy for price was the biggest mistake a person could make...
In other words, spending more is cheaper... roll eyes

Simply..

yep, and then it thickened out and plugged the heads.. As I said, it is typical..

The reason I am telling you this is because I totally screwed up a Lexmark printer doing the same thing.. Thought I could get away with it.. Worked for almost 20 sheets and then plugged tighter than .. well,
