The mouse driver can be uninstalled by clicking Control Panel>Mouse folder> Hardware Tab>Properties>(new window)Driver tab>uninstall button at bottom, press this, then the OK button The new keyboard may require a driver? But the Old plugin keyboard is a "plug and play" type, perhaps they are both "plug and play"? Do the uninstall on the mouse driver, install the new driver and see if that improves matters? Perhaps doing a reset after installing may be of help? Ps Delete the old driver completely otherwise there may still be a conflict

go back to the Driver tab where the uninstall button is There is a driver number like 5.1.2600.0 and the driver date such as 01/07/2001 Underneath there is a "Driver Details..." button Press this and there may be 2 or 3 files displayed Before you uninstall right click on these there maybe another way of installing the drivers without losing those drivers?(only spotted it now ) Instructions are on the "whats this?" tag Try this first, then try the other method if no joy Ok?
