I just installed wireless keyboard/mouse. The instructions said to uninstall the old one first. Which I did not do. Now I am having trouble with my pc. How do I uninstall it?? There/was is nothing in the programs list. I am running xp home.

The mouse driver can be uninstalled by
clicking Control Panel>Mouse folder> Hardware Tab>Properties>(new window)Driver tab>uninstall button at bottom, press this, then the OK button
The new keyboard may require a driver? But the Old plugin keyboard is a "plug and play" type, perhaps they are both "plug and play"?
Do the uninstall on the mouse driver, install the new driver and see if that improves matters?
Perhaps doing a reset after installing may be of help?
Ps Delete the old driver completely otherwise there may still be a conflict

Yes the old was was a plug and play. The new one did have an installation disk. How do you know if you have completely deleted the old driver?

go back to the Driver tab where the uninstall button is
There is a driver number like 5.1.2600.0
and the driver date such as 01/07/2001
Underneath there is a "Driver Details..." button
Press this and there may be 2 or 3 files displayed Before you uninstall right click on these there maybe another way of installing the drivers without losing those drivers?(only spotted it now ) Instructions are on the "whats this?" tag
Try this first, then try the other method if no joy Ok?
