We just visited our son in Arizona last month and my husband was very upset to see that he keeps his computer on all the time, day and night. My husband insists on shutting down our computer whenever we aren't using it.

My question: Is it more expensive to leave the computer on all the time or more expensive to be rebooting it everytime we want to use it?
