I went to change my partitions with partition magic 7 and have been having problems ever since. Basically what happens is the power LED will come on and both battery LEDs too. If there is a cd in it will spin up but do nothing. The computer turns off after a couple minutes of this. If i try to turn it back on immediately it turns right off, however if I wait for a bit it will do what I just described. The strangest thing is that if I leave it alone for about 15 minutes the computer will then boot. Any ideas? By the way, it's a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT260G. My best guess is that this is some sort of over-heating problem but I don't see why it would have started after using partition magic.

What did you partition? Partition magic takes alot of memory and CPU.
