If you find that you want more RAM, it'll cost $25 and ten minutes of your time*, for an extra 1GB stick. Your system can handle a maximum of 2GB (1GB per slot X 2 slots) of RAM. * Basic RAM installation: 1. Unscrew and slide off case 2. Insert new RAM into slot adjacent to existing RAM. 3. Close the case 4. Done. (Should take less than 10 minutes. Three if you've done it before.)

No The dual core or any multicore for that matter uses the Same RAM as a Conventional Processor My board can take 4GB RAM yet I'm using 1GB, and I'm using a single core chip Had a chance of a Dual core(same number) for a slightly higher price But there is no difference in performance RAM would have remained the same
