Just take your time Had an idea..and you can spot which fan wants attention Take the inspection Panel off and start the computer up and you should hear where the noise is coming from easier if there is a fan fitted to the panel leave that connected so that will work too. Only take 5 seconds or so If you have disconnected all the cables out of the Back, bar the Power lead the best way to stop the computer is to switch off the power at the wall socket.Can rarely do it without seeing on the Monitor if its shutting down if you click on the Power button!(common design issue!)  DO Not turn it off with the On/Off switch on the PSU I have blown a transformer doing this on another computer! Means buying another PSU (Only turn if off here when the power supply has been isolated)
