After running the e-mail total to 25 and receiving nothing but form letter e-mails and scripted responses from Dell I gave up and ordered from an on-line source that is shipping tomorrow.  I'd still love to obtain a Dell Customer Complaint address (e or snail mail) so I could purge my system of a month's worth or frustration from trying to deal with them.  The product is (or at least it was) very good, but to be crudely blunt - their customer service sucks! Good luck to anyone trying to deal with them.

I finally gave up and procured my fan from a supplier I found on the net. A bit more, but it has been received, installed and working for a couple weeks now. The real kicker was a follow-up e-mail from Dell asking if they had performed well and had resolved all my problems.  Boy did I let them have it! I'll bet my reply doesn't get passed up their chain of command for an 'attaboy'.
