I installed a replacement cordless logitech mouse on my XP home and now I have no sound. Any ideas?

I know this may sound silly, especially as you have installed a cordless mouse, but you didn't knock the cable out of the back when you plugged in the infra red device?

You might also want to try re-installing the sound card drivers
