You don't really need a super pc to work with wireless keyboards and mice. Most of the wireless keyboards and mice contain everything you need. Base station, keyboard, mouse, software (if needed). Here's a list of wireless keyboards and mice: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=537You can also try searching ebay, by using the search box the the left. One quick warning: If you see you cursor move phantomly, you should change the frequency. The manual should contain instructions on how to do this.

The only thing you need is patience. I have an inferred wireless keyboard, it's in my closet right now. Compare it to the remote control on your TV. How many times have you pressed a button and the channel wouldn't change. It usually works, but you have to put up with the same kinds of hassles with a wireless keyboard.
The mouse is a different story. If you don't remove it from the desk it'll work great, but don't plan on running it from your easy chair. It's nice to not have to mess with a cord when you're using your mouse, but who really cares about the cord on your keyboard? It never moves when you're sitting at your desk, so why not go hard wired? It's cheaper.
