i got a media reader at home that uses USB!
but my usb port is at the back of my computer, it is hard to remove it after i finish using it, is it ok if i don't remove it and leave it plug even when i am not using it? it won't damage the reader, right?

It makes no difference if U leave it in for 5 minutes or 5 years! Or get

http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=50243741

a hub like the above link and plug that into the USB port on the back of the computer and leave that on all the time! Then plug stuff into that and unplug it when need be for what ever reason!

Just make sure your computer is USB 1.1 like the hub and not 2.0 or get a 2.0 hub!

Or get an extension wire and tape it to the side of the computer! One end into the USB port on the back of the computer and the other end into the device!
