I just got a new HP printer for my office computer. Whenever I print a document from my Microsoft Works I get a window that says "Works Out Of Memory." Now I don't have nearly the files on my office computer as I do at home, and this message corresponds to getting the new printer. Any suggestions? (It's really just a pain, nothing serious.)

It could be because the printer does not have its own memory; instead, the printer driver uses the computer's memory when printing.

I suggest you check with www.hp.com for an updated printer driver:

Printer driver

I know you said the printer is new, but sometimes the driver is changed (updated) even on new systems when problems are found.

Another thing you might try...choose a different printer as your default printer (any other one will do). Then when printing, choose the printer you prefer to use.

Sometimes when a different printer is set as default this error is hidden.

I hope something here will help!
