It could be because the printer does not have its own memory; instead, the printer driver uses the computer's memory when printing. I suggest you check with www.hp.com for an updated printer driver: Printer driverI know you said the printer is new, but sometimes the driver is changed (updated) even on new systems when problems are found. Another thing you might try...choose a different printer as your default printer (any other one will do). Then when printing, choose the printer you prefer to use. Sometimes when a different printer is set as default this error is hidden. I hope something here will help! Dwight
