I recently bought a new computer and discovered that it has only USB ports which means that the scanner I was using on my other computer cannot be attached because it uses a parallel port plug. Is there such a thing as an adapter for the parallel port cord?

You can get one here or try elsewhere for a cheaper price.

Thanks for the information, koicarp. My scanner is still in working condition and I have the original software, so there is no point in putting out money to buy a new scanner even if they are dirt cheap.

I appreciate your help.
