Sorry about that! Anyway it should go upto 16x but not require only 16x! Cuz as far as I'm concerned regular can be 16x but RW only go at 4x and no higher! And 16x might be the write speed but not the rewrite speed! I think 12x is the fastest! Like 48x12x48 ! 48 is the write speed and 12 is the rewrite speed! And 48 is the read speed! I don't think anything goes 16x rewrite! ivnj

Tom_G, you're gonna love this: in the week since I posted that link, Imation changed the page (see this Google cached page). They widely announced the 4x-16x CD-RW disks and even had samples, but obviously there is a production problem. Reminds me of the Kodak SupraLife alkaline batteries. Actually manufactured, lots of advertising -- and completely unavailable when the US military purchased the entire inventory.
