recommendations for a new scanner. W98.4 Like to scan photos, recipes. The bulb died.

What is good at a good price? Do the current ones let me work on other programs while scanning?

The Mustek was given to me. Have never used any other scanner. Thanks

I have a LexMark Print Trio, X 75. I bought it from a LexMark rep at a computer blowout sale. It was a reconditioned unit, but had the same warranty as a new one. It prints, copies, scans, and sends faxes. It cost $65, and works perfectly. I don't think that scanning affects other programs, but it may depend on the other program. Scanning only takes a minute or so on this one.
