I got a new computer with Win.XP i keep getting the little yellow balloon at the bottom telling me updates are ready for your computer, i click it it does it's thing then tells me it's downloaded the updates, but then the balloon comes up again telling me the same thing. Now when i got the computer i downloaded a bunch of updates from microsoft that it needed but something happened and i had to cancel the updates, so i'm wondering if i did something to cause all this. Does anyone know what i can do, it's causing other problems as well. the name of the update that won't update is MSXML 4.0 SP2 security update (KB927978)
I usually go to that site, choose "Custom" instead of the "Express", select all updates, including the optional ones... what you decide to download is up to you.
