We have a Kyocera Mita FS - 1800 printer at work.
It has 3 printer trays.
Tray 1 is for legal paper and when the paper is out, it beeps for your attention to re-load.
Tray 2 is for normal 8 1/2 by 11 paper.
Tray 3 is for our expensive letterhead.
PROBLEM: When we are out of normal paper, the printer simply re-routes itself to select letterhead without any warning! We've wasted tons of letterhead because of this!
A couple of salesmen who were in - trying to sell their printer-wares asked if we were happy with ours and I expressed the problem. One of them said that there was probably a simple soloution and he'd call us and walk me thru it on the phone. NEVER heard back from them.
I emailed Kyocera with the problem recently and hope to her from them.
.... THEN I thought, what about AP? In the off chance that someone else has experienced this problem -- it would be such a cool thing to find a "fix" here!
