A friend of mine has asked me to help. He heard a remake of "when the doves cry" said it was a guy singing and a girl who sang parts, one part the female sang was " she's never satisfied" He said it is a recent remake. Wondering if anyone can help out? He tried calling the radio station but just got a recording.
Thanks

Let's start with this version by Ginuwine.

Or, does it have any heavy electronic beats/sythns. I've found a few industrial versions. Here's one by Who by Fire. The girl who's singing along says the 'When Doves Cry' part.

If there's anyting else, such as if it sounds R&B or rock or has a guitar or if the voice is high or low, just let us know.

I know it isn't ginuwine, that is what he told me. The only other thing i can remember him saying is the woman singing sounded kind of like Chery Crowe and said something about Roxette.

Ah, I bet it has synths in it if he mentioned Roxette. And you mean Sheryl Crow, I think?

These are all the ones I've found that loosely resemble what you've given so far.

Mindless Faith

Movie Dance Soundtrack

Stage Door Players

Stars at Studio 99

And here's a version that isn't synthy but I've thrown in anyway because it has a female vocalist that sounds like it could be compared to Sheryl Crow (although it actually sounds more like Linda Perry).
Bob Belden (the bottom of the page)

When you say the female sings the "she's never satisfied" part, you mean she sings that one line, right? Or do you mean she sings the whole verse with that line in it?
