I know about Phyllis and her suicide (though I'm not sure why she killed herself), and I know he's so well thought of in the States. I know of his folk roots too, but that's it? So tell me about him America, for I feel, as a music fan, I should know so much more.

I've learned such a lot and feel I know all about the guy now. After examining such an extensive repository of detail, there's scarcely anything else to want to know about him He seems mega in the States, such a major name, whereas here in France (and the UK too - even if he was interviewed by Johnnie Walker in April on BBC radio - or so I've just found out via the "News" link on one of the sites you highlighted) he's a long way from being a household name, even in music-oriented homes, believe me, certainly rthose I know.
